Build on the expertise of cost benefit analysis of policies and regulations to assist building transparent government process in Kyrgyz Republic and self-education tool for government official and the public in Bulgaria Goals:- To create a workable policy analysis tools and methodologies to be used by governments (especially for Kyrgyzstan (2003-2004),- Draft needed regulations - the Draft Law on Normative Acts and Implementing Decrees in Bulgaria, 2004-2005- RIA website, dissemination of knowledge about RIA as scientific approach via Internet for Bulgaria (http://www.ria-studies.net). These efforts incorporate methodological materials - general methodology on RIA and a sub-methodology: on impacts on competition, which are suitable for direct applications by all interested parties (administration, NGOs, businesses).Other materials available on this web are: · Glossary of most used RIA terms · RIA comments – around 30 (dedicated to regulations that seem to give rise to more costs than benefits) in Bulgaria and 4 in Kyrgyzstan· Full impact assessments of sectoral policies in Kyrgyzstan (pension reform and tourism regulations)· Useful links (global guide for RIA related sites)· Training government officials in Kyrgyzstan (2003) and Bulgaria (2004-2005).Type of services provided:
