Ukrainian Study Tour in Bulgaria

The ISCE regional office in Ukraine initiated a study tour of Bulgaria by a group of specialists in local economic development from various regions in Ukraine. Serdon planned, organized and managed this week-long event, which took place in various regions of the country. Bulgaria served as a case study of integration into the European Union for the Ukrainian delegation, whose objective was to learn firsthand about the challenges and advantages of the integration process on the local level. To achieve this goal, the group met with a variety of Bulgarian public organizations that are involved in local economic development.

SME Finance Clearinghouse

USAID-funded project to develop a web portal geared towards SMEs in Bulgaria that includes:
1) A web-based, user-friendly, frequently updated, searchable and comparable database of financing products, with transparent accounting of rates, fees and other costs and requirements.
2) A Knowledge Center of best-practice business templates, links to key business information sources and organizations, and relevant news.3) Access to comprehensive consulting and business startup services (i.e., a pool of experts).
Desk Research in different sectors of the Bulgarian economy

BC Serdon has completed a number of consulting projects involving the research of various Bulgarian economic sectors for PMR Consulting in order to assist foreign companies interested in entering the Bulgarian market. Sectors researched include the watches and jewelry, translation services, telecommunications, and mining.
